Blogging is crucial…
Yet I have been so bad at updating mine! I will blame it on two busy weeks at Edelman and still having no broadband in my apartment.
These last two weeks have as you can imagine been mindblowing. I have met so many creative, interesting and driven people who are all passionate about the future development of PR. One of these is head of digital and social media Simon Collister who has planted a digital seed in all of us grads that the future lies in the internets devices.
Two other passionate people are of course the CEO of Edelman, Robert Phillips and creative director Jackie Cooper who started JCPR several years ago which was aquired by Edelman and subsequently Phillips became the CEO. All the grads were fortunate enough to have lunch with these two and it was very enjoyable.
Right now I’m in my last week at financial PR, a desk headed up by Paul Lockstone who is a legend in this particular area and has truly worked with some extremely high profile clients and weathered many PR storms for them.
Next week I’m moving into corporate which I’m very excited about as they handle major clients such as Microsoft…!
